Open Door Health Center of Illinois is a medical clinic dedicated to the service and care of the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV, in addition to screening and treating sexually transmitted infections in the community. Trusted since 1977, Open Door Health Center provides a medical home approach to primary health care delivery and organizing primary health care that helps improve the health of the community.
Elgin Pride hosts year-round, accessible, family-friendly events and plus Elgin's Pride Parade and festival held the first Saturday in June. Elgin Pride cultivates celebration, education, visibility, and safe spaces to accelerate equity and inclusion for greater Elgin’s queer and marginalized communities.
