Join us for an afternoon of sharing, creativity, and connection!
On June 14, Side Street Studio Arts will host The Weave, an open-market event where artists and community members can sell, swap, or give away handmade items, found treasures, and gently used clothing. This event is designed to foster a collaborative space where we can share our art and resources while building community.
How to Participate:
Bring any amount of items to sell or trade—just let us know how much space you need, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

No need for a full table? Participate in our free clothes swap station, where you can drop off gently used clothing and take what you need. (Unclaimed items at the end of the event will be donated.)

The Weave is part of Explorations of Equity in the Arts in Elgin, a Side Street Studio Arts initiative supported by Healing Illinois. This program is designed to empower and uplift artists of color through curated exhibitions, artist-driven merchandise, and community workshops. By fostering artistic collaboration, economic opportunities, and racial equity in the arts, The Weave brings people together to celebrate creativity and resource-sharing.
